SpareScout

Approval-gated AI phone agent for vehicle-parts sourcing

Created SpareScout and took it through security review to an upstream merge in CALL-E's MIT-licensed phone-agent ecosystem. It coordinates supplier calls and turns fragmented conversations into comparable, evidence-backed quotes.

Engineering notes for SpareScout
The problem
Vehicle-part sourcing means repeating the same questions across suppliers and comparing incomplete answers.
My contribution
Created the sourcing agent, operator interface, structured quote workflow, and upstream submission.
Engineering decision
Require operator approval and allowlisted recipients before calling. Idempotent execution and durable history make retries reviewable.
Evidence & current stage
A reviewed, merged 71-file contribution to CALL-E, with public source and a live demo.

VolGuard AI

Risk-governed options research and paper-trading agent

An options research and paper-trading system built for the Alpaca AI Trading Agents Hackathon and my own learning. It scans eleven ETFs, records its decisions, and governs entry, monitoring, and exits through deterministic rules.

Engineering notes for VolGuard AI
The problem
A trading signal alone cannot establish whether an order is liquid, affordable, or consistent with the recorded portfolio.
My contribution
Built the option scanner, strategy constructor, risk governor, decision memory, paper execution workflow, and operator dashboard.
Engineering decision
Keep risk authority deterministic. Require repeated evidence before entry, reconcile broker positions, and stop new entries when broker and ledger disagree.
Evidence & current stage
Hosted paper dashboard, automated strategy and safety tests, and recorded entry/exit evidence. Performance is still being evaluated through paper trading.

Bilingual inventory and fulfillment PWA for adult family homes

An English and Kiswahili stock system for caregivers, managers, and owners of adult family homes. It connects counting, requests, dispatch, and physical receipt while keeping each organization's supplies and history isolated.

Engineering notes for AuraCare
The problem
Care teams need to know what was requested, what was sent, and what physically arrived without mixing records between homes.
My contribution
Implemented the PWA, bilingual role workflows, tenant isolation, request lifecycle, and unlisted-item extension.
Engineering decision
Update stock only through an authorized transaction. Preserve original quantities and acknowledgments; require managers to resolve unfamiliar items before dispatch.
Evidence & current stage
Local verification includes 275 application tests, 470 SQL assertions, and concurrency checks. The newest request extension is implemented locally; rollout is staged.

MajiShift

Weather-informed reservoir planning before pumping interruptions

A working reservoir-planning prototype that compares pumping schedules and reserve risk. Real Conduit weather observations feed a water-balance calculation, while operating assumptions remain editable and explicitly modeled.

Engineering notes for MajiShift
The problem
Water demand continues during pumping interruptions. Operators need to compare plans before reserves fall below a useful threshold.
My contribution
Led backend engineering and weather-data aggregation, and prepared adaptation-model experiments. Built with Patrick Leon, who led frontend, UX, QA, and GIS.
Engineering decision
Separate measured weather from assumed operations. Keep the checked water balance as the calculation authority, with authenticated station access on the server.
Evidence & current stage
Public prototype and source; planner checks cover 200 stress scenarios. Reservoir inputs and results are modeled, with operator calibration and field validation still ahead.

A university event-discovery platform gaining traction through growing traffic and hundreds of event listings. Students discover activities, organizers publish events, and Daily Pulse gives people a reason to return.

The problem
Campus opportunities are scattered across posters and group chats, while organizers need a reliable place to publish them.
My contribution
Built the event-discovery experience, organizer tooling, Daily Pulse engagement features, and application/database release workflows.
Engineering decision
Treat answer retries as the same submission. Preserve the saved answer and increment a streak once, even after a failed connection.
Evidence & current stage
Live platform with hundreds of listings and growing traffic. Daily Pulse release checks included 76 application tests, 13 database suites, and mobile/desktop recovery checks.

A working business system connecting a public catalogue to purchasing, stock reservations, customer orders, courier handoff, and receipt confirmation. The product name is being reconsidered before deployment.

Engineering notes for AquaPrime
The problem
Product listings, stock, purchases, and delivery status need to stay consistent as staff and customers act on the same orders.
My contribution
Implemented the public site, catalogue editor, customer accounts, staff operations workspace, stock ledger, and fulfillment workflow.
Engineering decision
Reserve eligible stock in one transaction, allocate by expiry, and reject checkout when the reviewed price changes. Revoke sessions immediately when staff access is removed.
Evidence & current stage
Working local slice verified with domain and browser journeys. Courier bookings and payments are recorded manually; deployment and final naming are pending.
